AI Fluency Consulting
AI tools are only as useful as the people using them. I help teams build AI fluency: the skills to work with AI assistants such as Claude in ways that are effective, efficient, ethical, and safe, without over-engineering or over-trusting them.
My approach builds on Anthropic’s AI Fluency Framework (certificate) and its four competencies:
- Delegation: deciding which work to hand to AI, which to keep, and how to split it.
- Description: communicating goals, context, and constraints clearly to AI.
- Discernment: critically evaluating what AI produces before relying on it.
- Diligence: using AI responsibly, with transparency, accountability, and care for data.

Agentic AI and Data Engineering
Beyond fluency, I design and build the systems behind AI and data work:
- Agentic AI systems: retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) agents and AI workflows, like my Financial Analyst Agent.
- Data pipelines and research tooling: lean, reliable pipelines and tools, like the R package I maintain for MoDD Africa’s evidence synthesis.
